Rising from the heart of Hudson Yards, The Vessel transforms architecture into rhythm, repetition and light.
I created this photograph to emphasize the extraordinary geometry of the structure rather than simply document the building. Its interlocking stairways and warm metallic surfaces create an almost hypnotic pattern—one that changes depending on where you stand and how the light moves across it.
What fascinated me most was the balance between complexity and symmetry. From this perspective, the architecture becomes almost abstract: a composition of lines, reflections, shadows and golden tones that seems to continue beyond the frame.
