Suspended in darkness, a jellyfish becomes something almost otherworldly.
I was fascinated by the contrast between the simplicity of its translucent body and the extraordinary complexity of the tentacles flowing behind it. Illuminated in electric shades of violet and blue, every delicate line seems to move independently, creating a composition that feels somewhere between marine life, abstract drawing and pure energy.
Rather than simply documenting the jellyfish, I wanted to isolate its form and movement against the darkness. The surrounding negative space allows the luminous details to emerge, transforming a living creature into an almost abstract work of art.
Electric Dreams — Jellyfish in Motion reflects my fascination with discovering unexpected beauty in subjects that are constantly changing and impossible to precisely repeat.
This fine art photograph is part of my Sea Wonders Collection, exploring the extraordinary colors, forms and details found beneath the surface.
